I choose these three ingredients not only as the basic ingredient to the most basic and important food in Egypt and the world but also to our existence as mankind and how we are acting towards it. we waste such precious essentials easily, we waste more than we think every time we ignore a disaster or even a small incident thinking we have all the time to fix it or that we will always get a second chance.

Water is a main ingredient in bread and also in life and we in Egypt are suffering from a great threat of water shortage in a very long debate about Nahda dam in Ethiopia with a completely missing information about how our government acts towards solving this problem, the public don`t know or feel anything except fear of losing such an important basic compound in human life such as water even though we still wasting time recklessly in a very critical matter like this.

Wheat is the main ingredient in making bread in Egypt but it is a main ingredient in other food industry all over the world, what is so interesting and strange is that a country like Egypt categorized for thousands of year as the world food basket is now importing around a half of its annual wheat consumption from countries that is considered as industrial countries like the United States of America. Instead of trying to be self-sufficient we keep wasting and importing more!

The clay soil initial for food and it`s a very precious thing to waste by building on or by giving it away, beside using the soil in planting, the soil is where we live and it`s the world to us, it`s our land, our home and country, in the famous last incident of giving away the two islands Tiran and Sanafier we faced a new act of wasting our land and we were shocked how easy we let go of precious things in our country!
